Created to celebrate the birth of Isliedh (ai-lay), Sybrand van der Spuy’s first grandchild, this elegant Sauvignon Blanc is made from grapes grown in clay soils at the top of the farm, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Fermentation in the 1st and 5th barrels culminates in a wine that shows finesse and elegance, with levels of complexity only attained by classic means. Produced in limited quantities and released 18 months after vintage, Isliedh can be enjoyed on release but will reward with up to four years in a bottle.
